‍ ‍$500 "Model Your Model" In-Hand Class

• Open to all breeds.

• No entry fee for current IHPBEA members.

• Non-members can join fHPBEA by completing a membership form and dues to the Horse Show/Competition Office.

• Only one handler per animal permitted in the ring.

• Exhibitor must be appropriately dressed.

• A standard whip or crop may be carried with no more than two eight inch or less ribbon attachments. Plastic attachments are not permitted.

• Entries may be shown in a bridle or halter. Curb bits and tail sets are prohibited on weanling or yearlings.

‍ - Monetary awards will be given from 1st - 6th place

‍ ‍ ‍Judging Procedures

• All entries will enter the ring and called to a line up.

• Judge will walk the line up as the first inspection of entries.

• Each entry will be called from the line up to individually present or model their entry.

• Entry will assume their stance in compliance to their breed standards. (i.e. parked, modified park, stand square.)

• Entry will return to the lineup after being inspected and dismissed by judge.

• Correct conformation and finish counts for 25% of score. All entries should be judged according to entry's breed standard.

• Conditioning, grooming, and fitting of entry represents 25% of score.

• Appearance and grooming of exhibitor will count for 10% of score.

• The exhibitor that best displays their ability in the presentation of their model entry will represent 40% of the score.
